About ACT (AIDS Committee of Toronto)
Founded in 1983, the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) provides programs and services to people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV/AIDS.

Today there is still a need for action: two people are newly infected with HIV in Toronto each day, and more people than ever are living with HIV/AIDS. ACT provides a variety of programs and services that improve the health and well being of men, women and youth in our community living with HIV/AIDS. We also help to prevent new HIV infections within communities that have been most affected by HIV/AIDS through community outreach, education and health promotion.
Funds raised by the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Toronto go directly to support the programs and services of the ACT.
With your support, we can continue to provide caring, responsive and effective services to people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
