Diggy the DJ from Down With Webster
Down With Webster is a Canadian musical force poised to be the next international breakout from a country that is quickly becoming a leading exporter of musical sensations (Arcade Fire, Bieber and Drake). DWW is comprised of MCs Bucky and Cam Hunter, lead singer and guitarist Pat Gillett, bassist/keyboardist Tyler Armes, drummer Andrew “Marty” Martino and Diggy the DJ.
The band’s energetic performances and constant online interaction with fans ignited a viral internet buzz and a fanatical following. DWW’s debut EP, Time To Win, vol. I, has gone gold in Canada and produced three platinum-selling hit singles (Your Man, Whoa Is Me, Rich Girl$), three number one videos, and millions of YouTube hits.
DWW performed on the MuchMusic Video Awards in June alongside Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Black Keys headlining festivals across Canada this summer and touring internationally during the fall of 2011 and through 2012. The band is incredibly proud that Diggy is going to be a part of this year’s Scotiabank Aids Walk for Life Toronto and fans can expect nothing less than stellar performance from this rising Canadian star.
