Here’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon – Start a team!
Invite family, friends, and co-workers to register and join your team in the AIDS Walk for Life.
When people ban together, they make a huge difference.
In 2009, teams accounted for 40% of the total funds raised.
Teams raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS and they have fun doing it!
Teams come from all sectors of our community: friends, corporations, small and mid-size businesses, community organizations, schools, faith groups, you name it.
ABOUT TEAM CAPTAINS
Team Captains are critical to the spirit and success of this event.
Team Captains:
- assemble a team of walkers,
- discuss fundraising strategies and goals,
- look for ways to reward the team as goals are met, and
- lead the way toward a successful September 19th!
