WALKERS
 Every step you take and every dollar you raise makes a difference. Your support will help the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) be there for people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV/AIDS.
Register now, our online system makes collecting pledges easy! Further, the 2011 Walker Kit is ready and includes fundraising tips, ideas about who you can ask, plus statistics, stories, and more. Learn about our Walker incentive package.
Once you've registered, you can also email a pledge form to yourself to print out and collect pledges in person. Be sure to bring your donation form and money (cash or cheques) to registration on Sunday, September 25.

Tax receipts are automatically generated when people donate $20 or more online.
For donations of less than $20, receipts are issued upon request only. You can indicate this on the form online and offline.
All tax receipts for donations collected offline will be issued by the end of the calendar year in time for donors to make a claim on their income tax return.

 Here’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon – Start a team!
Invite family, friends, and co-workers to register and join your team in the AIDS Walk for Life.
When people ban together, they make a huge difference.
In 2010, teams accounted for 50% of the total funds raised.
Teams raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS and they have fun doing it!
Teams come from all sectors of our community: friends, corporations, small and mid-size businesses, community organizations, schools, faith groups, you name it.
ABOUT TEAM CAPTAINS
Team Captains are critical to the spirit and success of this event.
Team Captains:
- assemble a team of walkers,
- discuss fundraising strategies and goals,
- look for ways to reward the team as goals are met, and
- lead the way toward a successful September 25th!
